Prosthetic eyes are not a modern invention, because the so-called “preferential eyes” already existed in the middle ages. Using artificial eyes can reduce the physical and psychological impairments that result from the loss of the natural eye. From our daily practice, we learn what questions arise. Knowing how to use a prosthetic eye makes you feel more confident.
Thanks to the realistic copy and professional adaptation to the conditions of the eye cavity, artificial eyes allow you to wear them inconspicuously, fit them without problems and thus ensure a safe personal appearance.
We are the only eye prosthetic company with long-term work experience and highly qualified specialists providing cryolite glass and PMMA eye prosthetics in the UK.

We are back in London!
Book now for 2023
We are very excited to introduce you to a fantastic new addition to our team, Lorna Rynne.
Lorna trained under John Pacey-Lowrie in 2013 after moving to England from New Zealand. In 2014, she accepted a position at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London and continued working at the esteemed hospital for 8 years. During this time Lorna treated both adult and paediatric patients, many with complex fitting and emotional needs.
Now, Lorna is thrilled to be returning to her roots and continuing her work alongside John, Sean, Valdis and the rest of the team here at John Pacey-Lowrie Limited in 2022.
With the addition of Lorna to our team, we are happy to say our London clinic will be reopening in January with Lorna treating our London patients.
We expect our January appointment slots to fill up quickly and so we recommend that anyone interested in a January appointment call us or email us as soon as possible.

We don't save lives,
We change them.
For most people, losing an eye is impossible to imagine.
However, if you're reading this it is likely you yourself have recently lost an eye, or maybe you know someone who has.
This is an enormous change and there are lots of new things to learn and plenty of things to re-learn...
Simple things like pouring a drink or buttering toast become quite an 'interesting' experience, but trust us when we say that you will adapt and you will thrive. The human brain is a remarkable thing and the human spirit is even more astonishing.
"Our real-life superheroes! Their work is outstanding and the attention to detail is phenomenal.
We can not recommend JPL enough."
"John and his team are true professionals. They did a perfect job.
I’m very satisfied with the results."
"The prosthetics are very natural-looking, comfortable to wear and made in a very short time."
In the 15 years our clinic has been open we have made prosthetic eyes for infants, children, teenagers, adults and the elderly; hundreds of people who have suffered similar trauma's, all from different backgrounds, have continued to live their lives with a smile on their face.
